Walk4ALife is a 10km walk around the Perth river foreshore, run by BunningsSausageSizzle (Team 3). Every dollar goes to The Kids' Cancer Project through our Write A Book In A Day team.
Our team takes part in Write A Book In A Day, where we plan, write and illustrate a whole book inside 12 hours. The books go to kids in hospital. The money we raise goes to The Kids' Cancer Project, which funds research into childhood cancer.
Writing the book isn't easy, but raising money is the part we need the city for. So we're putting a walk together: turn a Sunday morning into research funding.
One 10km loop of the river, all on footpath. Three points along the way where you can be picked up, catch the ferry, or call it a day. No one is stuck out there.
